The solenoid valve type 2/164 is designed for operating temperatures up to +300 °C and is equipped—depending on the maximum operating temperature—with either a PEEK seat seal or a metal seat seal. When the metallic sealing option is used, the tightness corresponds to leakage rate C. Exceeding the usual temperature limits is made possible through additional design measures. For continuous duty (100% ED), a thermal spacer is implemented between the valve cover and the coil. The packing‑less design ensures a very high level of external tightness.
