2/2-Way Solenoid Valve Made of Stainless Steel – Long-Spindle Design for Liquefied Gases This solenoid valve is specifically designed for use with liquefied gases such as LN2 (nitrogen), LCO2 (carbon dioxide), and—when selecting option F—also for liquid oxygen (LOX). The long-spindle design allows optimal insulation of the valve body. Since the solenoid actuator is positioned at a sufficient distance from the cold source, heat input remains negligible. Additionally, this valve design is compatible with EEx solenoids, making it suitable for use in Ex-Zone I. Our cryogenic valves are specially developed for applications requiring media temperatures as low as -196 °C.
